Album "365 Penguins" by Jean-Luc Fromental and Joelle Jolivet - Editor Naïve
This album is a delight, bright and colorful it tells a crazy story pretext in many mathematical calculations. A family receives a January 1 st, penguin mail, then a new one every day. The house became flooded, the comical situations are linked: you must feed them, wash them away ... How many penguins will be there at the end of February? What day comes the 100 th penguin? How many penguins can you store in a cube of 6 penguins edge?
The fall is tasty and history can also make the link with education for the environment because these birds are found to be "refugees climate.

I worked on this book with students in CE2, CM1 and CM2 in difficulty. All have enjoyed the story and are willing bent to the game to the proposed calculations. We can then check the solutions found in the book.
