Students will:
- develop procedures for various resolutions but appropriate to the situation (drawing simplified calculations): they should not rush on the numbers of the statement to the transaction which they know best (addition), a procedure not appropriate the situation;
- awareness that relevant information is in the text
- reinvest, refine or develop procedures implemented to solve the above problems
- discover that one can proceed by trial and error
- discover that a problem may have several solutions
- from 10 to 10, organizing and processing additive calculations, count a quantity using groups of 10, use the multiplication table by 10
